Architect Mark Foster Gage recently released a proposal design protesting what he calls “boxes clad in steel and glass.” M.F.G and his team gave the nickname “The Khaleesi” for the proposed building for 41 W 57th St. The exterior covered in detailed gargoyles and really does look well-suited for the mother of dragons. The 102-story residential building will offer breathtaking views of Central Park. Gage says “the goal was high levels of detail… High Resolution Architecture”.

To celebrate the release of the new Star Wars movies, Red Hong Yi has created shadow figures of the leading characters such as: Darth Vader, R2-D2, Yoda and Chewbacca.
Victor Enrich, a self-taught digital artist/photographer from Barcelona creates hypnotic photos of buildings by manipulating them. Enrich captures building images from all over the world. He believes “each part of the city acts as a catalyst of feelings, ideas and digressions that, once after its empowered soul emerges, becomes alive, unrestricted from norms, ready to fly into new, yet unexplored shapes.”
Robin Cerutti, a photographer from Montreal, has captured remarkable images underwater. In his recent series called “Mirror” he has created a pathway into parallel worlds. The water’s surface resembles a doorway into other surreal worlds; just as in Alice in Wonderland.
Ellery Mann, a very creative artist, creates cosmic collages by combining vintage photos with cosmic photographs. His hypnotic sceneries display people in surreal settings, possibly other dimensions.

Painter Gunduz Agayev has again created one of his masterfully controversial series. In this new project called “Just Leaders”, Agayev has depicted numerous notorious world leaders like Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi or Russia’s Vladimr Putin.
Vicki Freeman and Mark Meyer’s new restaurant Vic’s opened in 2014 and replaced Five Points, another staple restaurant by the same owners. Vic’s is the place to go whether for brunch, lunch or dinner!
The Menu is constructed of traditional Italian and Mediterranean cuisines, using ingredients from American farms. Hillary Sterling, the head chef of Vic’s, says “it is a challenge to create authentic flavors with local ingredients.” She mentions “traditional Italian and Mediterranean cuisines require a lot of herbs and acid.” In our point of view, she was able to capture the perfect balance in all her dishes.
